ABOUT US

An independent business located in downtown      St. Albert, AB, Midtown Apothecary is a unique pharmacy, devoted to providing excellent customer service with a small town feel. As in the days of olde, also located within the pharmacy is an ice cream parlour. C'mon in and enjoy an ice cream cone and some friendly company!

Taking a step back in time to when your pharmacist knew your name and neighbours said hello to one another, Midtown Apothecary's pharmacists will fill your prescription while you relax and enjoy an ice cream in this family friendly establishment. The pharmacist/owner, Karen Moak, is already a trusted member of this community, having moved her pharmacy from the St. Albert Shopping Centre to her delightful location downtown.

Karen Moak

Born and raised in the area, Karen grew up on an acreage just east of St.Albert. Obtaining her education at the U of A more than 20 years ago, Karen values traditional, quality service and strives to provide that for her customers. Having spent 9 months in Sierra Leone with UNICEF and more than 2 years in Timor-Leste with UNMIT, Karen's dedication to the global community is well established. She is now settled down in her home community and renovating a 109 year old farmhouse in  Fort Saskatchewan.

Lil Davis

Lil graduated from the U of A in 1987 and has considerable experience as a pharmacist. She has Additional Prescribing Authority as well as a special interest in diabetes securing her as a valuable part of your health care team. As a local mother of three children, which includes a set of twins, Lil remains busy in the community as a proud ringette and hockey mom with a passion for reading. She also loves baking (although not a fan of cooking). Lil speaks and understands German.

Jill Bocking

Jill graduated from the U of A in 2013 and has been a integral member of Midtown Apothecary's pharmacy team since that time. She has Additional Prescribing Authority and has an interest in mental health and travel medicine. Jill grew up in Medicine Hat but moved to Edmonton for university. She lives with her younger sister and likes to spend time going to yoga and playing with her two cats.
