A full service pharmacy, Midtown Apothecary offers a variety of products and services, from prescription drugs to over-the-counter health aides. Our trained and professional staff are available to administer flu shots and travel vaccinations, take blood pressure readings, help you organize your medications, and we are there to consult with you, to ensure you get the most out of your medications.
MEDICATION REVIEWS
We are passionate about patient care and we love getting to know each and every one of our patients. Our pharmacists can sit down with you for a one-on-one visit in our private office to discuss your medications and help you manage your medical conditions.
TRAVEL CONSULTATION AND VACCINATIONS
Travelling? Planning for a trip can be stressful when you don't know which vaccinations or medications you might need tohelp keep you safe. Our pharmacists will sit down with you in our private office to determine your individual needs according to your destination. Our prescribing pharmacist can write the needed prescriptions and if you need vaccinations, we can administer them for you.
We are also a designated Public Health Agency of Canada Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre.

PRESCRIBING PHARMACISTS
We have prescribing pharmacists on staff who are happy to help you manage your chronic medical conditions. We can also prescribe medications for travelling or for minor ailments.
AMBULATORY BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR
Our pharmacy owns a validated ambulatory blood pressure monitor that we loan to patients for 24 hours at a time.. Our wait times are minimal and we will get the results back to the physician the day after the test. If your blood pressure in the doctor's office is often high but it is normal at home, or if your blood pressure readings fluctuate a lot, you may qualify for this service. Please contact us or ask your doctor if ambulatory blood pressure monitoring is right for you.
ALLERGY SHOTS
We administer weekly and monthly allergy injection treatments in our private offices. No appointment is needed and there is no charge to the patient for this service.
INJECTIONS AND FLU SHOTS
All of our pharmacists are certified to administer drugs by injection. We can inject many different medications for you, from birth control and allergy shots to travel vaccines and flu shots.
BUBBLE PACKING AND DELIVERY
Remembering to take your medication can sometimes be challenging. We will organize your pills in blister packs and if you are unable to come to us, we may be able to deliver!
